Within WAAS, all renowned influencers and professionals are categorized into three distinguished membership tiers, reflecting the breadth of expertise across global anti-aging and aesthetic medicine.
1. Medical Doctor — “Dr.”
Members bearing the Dr. title are board-certified medical specialists who have completed formal medical school and
residency training.
They represent the scientific and clinical foundation of WAAS, contributing to research, education, and the development
of advanced aesthetic and regenerative treatments.
2. Doctor of Philosophy — “Dph.”
Members with the Dph. designation hold a Ph.D. or equivalent academic doctorate, granted through official recognition by
the WAAS Academic Board.
They are scholars and researchers whose work aligns with the academic and philosophical vision of WAAS—advancing our
mission through innovation, evidence-based research, and global collaboration.
3. Doctoral Practitioner — “Dp.”
The Dp. title represents Doctoral Practitioners, highly skilled injectors and aesthetic professionals primarily active
within the United States healthcare system.
They are recognized for excellence in anti-aging and aesthetic medicine, embodying the philosophy and standards of WAAS.
This membership is exclusive and by invitation only, extended to those whose clinical expertise and cultural
contribution reflect the true spirit of WAAS.
WAAS offers an inclusive membership program open to board-certified medical professionals, clinical educators,
and
qualified global influencers in the aesthetic and anti-aging field.
To maintain professional standards across countries, WAAS primarily accepts members with board certification in
their
respective specialties.
However, in countries where an official board certification system does not exist — such as the Philippines —
exceptional cases may be considered upon review by the WAAS Executive Board.
Membership eligibility in such cases will be based on clinical experience, reputation, and contributions to the
local
medical community.
All membership applications are subject to review and monitoring by the WAAS Board to ensure quality and ethical
alignment with the society’s values.
